When I was born into this world, I was born into a dying world. The landscapes and majestic wonders that I see will cease to exist. The winds that I can feel, the air that I breathe, and all living creatures I see and know will cease to exist. Then why I ask was I born into such a place
Men as I recall, have done their best to be immortal. They have done their best to outlive their physical lives. The closest thing men can do to live forever is to have their names engraved. Yet it too will wither away when the world is no more and their names are forever gone. What agony, what meaningless effort.
I will be reborn again. Only those few of us will ever be reborn gain. We will be reborn not into a dying world, but reborn into a kingdom where time does not exist and their rules does not govern, a kingdom eternal. The landscapes and majestic wonders I will see every moment of my breath. The winds I feel, the air I breathe will always be there infinitely. All the living creatures will be mines to love, care for and do as I want. All this will exist because I am with Christ, because I am with God.
This is the eternal life I have because I am with Christ, because I accepted him, because God promised me all these things when I believed when other men refused and believed in themselves to be the creators and destroyers of all living.
Todays devotion comes from Proverbs / Pajlub 8:35
For those who find me find life and receive favor from the LORD.
Tus uas nrhiav tau kuv kuj nrhiav tau txojsia, thiab tau kev hlub ntawm Yawmsaub.
